My husband took my son to a Rockland Boulder’s game last year and raved about it. Seriously, it’s all I heard about all summer – how family-friendly it was, how affordable it was, how they engage the children throughout the game with contests, how you can walk over to the players in the dug out to get autographs, that there was a full playground in the stadium. They also have a FREE kids club which gives you 1 FREE ticket to Sunday home games (certain exclusions may apply), discounts on birthday parties, camps, stores, a newsletter, membership card and more.

Rockland Boulders Kids Club

For those of you who followed our site last summer I’m sure you saw the Rockland Boulders games posted on our calendar – that was thanks to my husband. Anyhow, he was so excited about it I was bummed I didn’t have the opportunity to post a review for you all.  I was going to contact them this season and guess what? It must have been fate because last weekend I literally bumped into their table at the Rockland YouthFest (Review here). I learned a lot about all the Rockland Boulders have to offer and I’m happy to share two April events with you – Their Easter Camp (imagine your child playing on the field) and their Egg Hunt. Here we go…the following information is provided by The Rockland Boulders.

BoulderBird’s Egg Hunt

Come and join the Rockland Boulders for a free Egg Hunt at Provident Bank Park. Boulder Bird will host all children 10 and under for the “Boulder Egg Hunt” on April 19 at 9 AM. Click here for more info.
BoulderBird's Egg Hunt
Doors will open at 9 a.m. with breakfast available for purchase at the park. All children will be divided into two age groups: 5 and under and 6-10 years old. The 30-minute hunt will begin at 9:45 as all participants search the outfield for eggs filled with candy. Scattered among the projected 3,000 eggs will be several “Golden Eggs” that will include Boulders prizes including tickets and the ability to throw out the first pitch prior to a 2014 home game. Kids must bring their own bags/baskets. Kids can take pictures with Boulder Bird and the Bunny throughout the day. The “Boulders Eggs-press” will be available for rides while music plays throughout the ballpark. Click here for more info.
