Disclosure: I received free party products in order to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own.

About a year ago, Lauren and I consolidated our two websites into one and it’s been quite a journey! We can’t believe how we’ve grown in just one year–we now have corporate sponsors, publicize events where we get to meet YOU, and an increasing social media reach are some of the many perks of working on this site.

We also have built up a great team of contributors and writers who share the same passion we do about providing resources and information to the community and making connections. Then, Disney reached out to us to host a Disney themed party with other bloggers across the world, so we took the opportunity to celebrate our birthday and thank our contributors.

As you can see, our kids had a blast and the moms got a bit of conversation in between crowd control duty. We had 9 boys and two girls, after all. Luckily, nothing was broken in Lauren’s house!

Beautiful cupcakes provided by Baked in a Cup, 70 East Main Street, Ramsey, NJ. They bake their cupcakes daily, are 100% free of shortening, and use high quality, gourmet ingredients.

Decor from our Disney Side box and favors prepared by Writer, Amanda Crane. Unfortunately, her kids were sick and couldn’t attend. We missed them!
