Lighten Up Ramsey’s 2016 Challenge: 2 Fruits and 3 Veggies every day for 4 weeks! Unlike previous years, there is no community weight-loss goal. This year the FREE program invites the entire family to take on the challenge to improve their eating habits. This is a wonderful way for children to learn about eating healthy and trying new foods!
At the kickoff on March 6 there will be a children’s session about fruits and vegetables and a poster contest so that children up to age 12 can demonstrate their ideas about the value of a healthy diet. There will also be a presentation from Zen Family Yoga, a talk by Sondra Tackett the Dietician at Ramsey ShopRite, a performance by the Ramsey Players Club, prizes, refreshments and more.
