I was at Finch Park in Ramsey (see our post on Finch Park here) and decided to catch an outdoor lunch date with my little man at Porto Alegre Cafe, Ramsey. The quality of the food and the European feel (although it’s Brazilian) makes this little cafe a must see. Plus, it’s now open on Sunday during the Ramsey Farmers’ Market. Porto Alegre Cafe (19 E. Before I start this post on Ramsey’s Indoor Farmers’ Market, I wanted to let you know about another February show for the kids. Sesame Street Live, is playing at Madison Square Garden 2/16-2/26. I heard about this indoor play place last year and just never made it over there. What a mistake! This is a toy dreamland and a great way to fill up an hour or two in the winter. The fall is a great time to head over to your local farmers’ market. Ramsey’s market is open Sundays from 10-2pm and runs from the Spring until end of November rain or shine. Children of all ages love to go sample food, people watch, and listen to live music. Hello all! We’ve been going to Finch Park in Ramsey for over a year now so we’ve seen it through all of the seasons, morning and afternoon. But the bottom line is we LOVE this park.
