Who are we? Lauren: A city girl turned suburban mom trying to just make it through the day!
Our story: My good friend Andrea and I met at the library (best place to meet other parents, so there is your first tip 
We did the awkward Mommy-date thing of exchanging phone numbers and we’ve been sharing every parenting tid-bit we’ve learned ever since. After a year of getting each other out of the house we’ve figured out this whole parenting thing is totally doable when you know where to go with your kids and make friends. We got so excited about all that we’ve learned we found ourselves trying to make friends and sharing info. with everyone we met. And we mean everyone…yes, Lauren might just have pulled her car over one day to give her phone number to a Mommy pushing a stroller in her neighborhood. Okay, so not to look a bit crazy we thought a better thing to do would be to share everything in a blog…much safer for all involved. And no, that Mommy pushing the stroller never called! J

People have been asking what Lauren looks like so here I am…on a family vacation to Florida last year. Maybe we can convince Andrea to sit and let me take a picture of her too. I’ll keep you posted.
